Default bad camgears adjustement

Since my valves were changed in my b18c5, is it possible that my camgears adjustement was mixed up when the dealer reinstaled my cams and aem camgears? What does a bad ajustment do on my engine??

aftermarket, the car feel's a little different.......I feel a bigger boost once I hit 7000rpm......mayby its because the dealer repolished and refaced the head?? How does the car should feel when I have a bad adjustment??

I checked the gears and intake is set at +4 and exhaust 0

bad......if it runs fine, be happy. if not, try setting the cam gears at 0,0 and go from there, or have some who knows what they're doing look at it

I believe that when the dealership took my camgears off the camshaft, they did not replaced it at the good 0 setting. Damm teh cvar feel's so slow....I raced my friend stock rsx-s and was only able to put 1 car lenght on him dooing 1-2-3. His car is bone stock and I have 4-1 header, aem cai, cam gears, fpr, and underdrive pulley!! It was from a 20mph roll down!

I will have to find where my 0 degree adj his on the aem camgears and set them at zero untill I can dyno the car!!

Its weird, I only feel power at 7000rpm and the car dies around 8200 when b4 it was making power untill 8400. + the car feel alot slower then b4, is it possible that my camgears adj is so off that my intake cam is neerly not making any power??

Actually, if your adjustment were off (like by a tooth or so), it would barely run. It could pitter-patter along horribly. Another scenario that I have seen before is that the car would seem fine, until you really hit on the gas. This can happen too if you get a tooth off. So trust me, if your car is running good/hard, then it sounds like you are A.O.K.

.....if they milled the head or "cleaned" the block, then you can throw your old adjustments out the window. You'll need a degree wheel to find out what your true 0 is.....

See if you can find out how much they took off the head and block, there's some conversion somewhere for adjusting/ compensating at the cam gears... I'll find it for you...
