Icon6 does any one think this is possible

ok I kinda had a dream of a crazy idea. is is possible to make a quad turbo k20 with individual throttle bodys. I know that it would need a custome turbo manifold.what kind of wastegate and blow off valve would I have to run. I was thinking a custom topmount innercooler with 4 in and 4 out to each of the throttle bodys. what would have to be done for exaust dual h pipes or dual y pipes. also what kind of engine management could I use. as far as turbos I was thinking 4 tiny t3s. post any ideas on this. I know its crazy but anything can be done with enough time and money.
thanks
Eddie

your last sentance makes the most sense of all of that.
if you are looking at little t3's, just get ones that are internally gated. that will save alot on plumbing. if you plan on 4 itb's and 4 separate tracts for the air, you will need 4 bovs.

to me it just seems this is for the wow factor and nothing more.

I agree with the wow factor comment. And yes, anything can be done with enough time and money, but should you pursue it?

Tiny T3s would still be too big, look at IHI turbos like the VG1 and VQ1.

Such a thing could physically be welded together, could make enough boost to read with a boost gauge, and wouldn't even need that much more complicated engine management than a single turbo other than having multiple wastegates. So on one level, sure, it's possible.

But making that work better than a correctly designed and tuned single turbo setup? I doubt that's possible.

It IS possible, but would be a plumbing nightmare. If you really want to boost it, stick to a single turbo and save yourself the headache. Personally, i dont really get the whole "wow" factor from something different...i'd rather have something fun and "practical"

Who is going to make him a manifold to start with, second your talking at least 1200-2k just for a custom manifold. third, good luck fitting 4 turbos (even if they are tiny) in the engine bay, Holy heat soak, just a royal pain in the ***, and the wow factor, well that doesnt even factor in when you figure all the F-bombs dropped trying to put this thing together. Who cares about the "wow" factor when you drive a honda.....hmmm yeah.

Not possible, just because you won't really find any useable turbo that is sized correctly to feed 500cc if displacement each and make it work. Also, having one cylinder feed each turbo simply means there will be huge gaps between exhaust pulses. The turbo probably never spools correctly, and the car will make almost no power, way more lag, and basically, a piece of expensive junk after you are finished with it.
