The simple fact is that the GSR is going to be better. The additional displacement in the stroke is going to increase torque in such a way that the B16 cannot compete. Also, if you're ever thinking of going further with it in the future, the GSR with it's larger displacement is going to make an easier platform for a streetable turbo setup.

B18c1 = more power, more torque. b16a2 = less power, less torque. Both good boost motors....go with whichever one makes u happy for the amount u willing to spend.

Put a type r head on the b16 and rev the **** out of it b16 r/s ftw! But for real... Gsr out of the 2 choices... But I say boost the fck outta the D.
