I have a 2000 ls and need a 4-2-1 stainless steel header and companies like comptech, dc sports, greddy, edelbrock etc. either went out of business or discountinued the header for the 2000 ls. Is there any 4-2-1- quality stainless steel headers out there I can Buy? any recommendations? i have a comptech intake and exhaust and high flow cat and am despirate for a header so I can install my cams and camgears and fuel tune!!!

you try megan racing? They've got a stainless steel 4-2-1 for LS. Not sure what the diameters on the piping are. I've never bought from them, but heard good things.

 

Yea Ive heard of them but Ive head you pretty much get what you pay for and people have leaking problems... Megan equals cheap. Im just looking for somthing that at least as good as a dc or greddy or edelbrock.. Would a jdm header fit my car?

Unless you plan on failing or paying to get magic smog then get a carb legal header.

I live in smog tight Cali so I have to consider these things.

 

For sure I hear ya. I live in Cali as well and I do want a CARB legal header but it seems like there arent any quality headers out there for my car...it sucks

I wish it was that easy Bricy. Comptech is owned my someone else I think and they dont make parts anymore, or else that would be my first choice. Weaksauce doesnt have the header, I tried monthes ago. I seriously think no one makes a decent header for my car!

 

Does anyone know if the Greddy header for a 94-99 ls will fit in my 2000 ls? The only difference is that the greddy header doesnt have the o2 bung right?

 

you need that bung and the length is different

 

I did a search in ebay motors and google for "integra ls dc header" There are a bunch there that will fit a 00 ls.

 

i actually just put a megan on my gsr it sounds good has good pull and i havent had any leaks but he DC sports i did have on there cracked after 4 months and always leaked in the middle half no matter if i changed the gasket or not too sum up what im trying to say for 160 bucks its not a bad investment

Yes there are a bunch of cheap headers out the re that say they will fit my car but I dont wanna buy crap!

And b17rider you had a ceramic dc header thats why you had bad luck. Dont go cheap go stainless steel!

That is a race header. with a 2.5" collector and not legal for street use and wont pass smog. I need a 2" collerctor carb legal ss 421.Thanks though!

 

Does anyone have experience with the JVTR header. I think its like a Megan header (You get what you pay for) but correct me if im wrong.

YOu could buy an used ITR jdm 4-2-1 with the 2.5 collector. I think it would pass the smog test
