Default ? for the pro fabers non honda

im really not a domestic guy so im having a hard time with this! im trying to build a set of headers for a pontiac 455 in a g body (dont really even know what all that is ) and i cant seem to locate any head flanges. there are three seperate flanges per side. ive looked around in the domestic forums and through google and come up with nothing. does anyone have any clue where i can find these flanges or even a gm or domestic forum with a good fab forum in it.

call Stahl headers. They should have them. If they don't I used to buy a bunch of flanges from Sam Goertz (I can't remember the name of his company). He made me a couple of custom flanges for some VW engines. Price was reasonable too.

You need to find out whether the head has round ports or D ports. heres a link

try typing pontiac header flanges theres one after another of suppliers and or manufacturers of flanges and or complete headers What did you search on Google?

To be honest unless this is some special and off the wall there are so many manufacturers of just about any level of quality and price its not worth making a set.
lemmons headers is a good source for a competition header Stahl as mentioned is also a good one for parts. I have built many sets of custom headers for chevy ford and a pontiad and 1 buick for one off race apps with custom heads but if its a std headed pontiac then why bother. Buy off the shelf set.

Mild steel 2 3/8 headers in a stock framed camaro or a chevelle with a big chief style head.
+- $2000 depending on collector style or collector muffler

off the shelf kits for v8 cars with a motor that they did not originally come with will always bring up problems due to being built on a jig. i know lemmons is not too bad for some mass produced headers, but nothing beats a one-off pair of nice equal length headers that does not require you to loosen up the engine mount and raise the motor up an inch while you count backwards from ten in a foreign language.
