03 ccord v6 need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this morning my wife started the car and couple seconds later the abs, traction, tcs nad maintance lights lite up on the gauge cluster. I left the car running and and tested the battery with a voltmeter because i assumed the altenator took a crap. the voltage stayed steady at 14.86 and 14.87 volts. left the car running and reved it up to 5000 rpm for approx 15 seconds rechecked the voltage and stayed the same 14.86 14.87....therefore i ruled the altenator out my question now is what can be trigering the lights? fuse? relay? i have no idea if anyone could give me some feed back i would deeply appreciate it. thank you my fellow h-t family.
it could be cause of the freezing weather. it could be your e-brake freezing up and ur brake bads freezing up. i have a problem with my rear right brake pad where after i park and use the e-brake, it freezes us and my brake pad wont release unless i drive for like a few minutes and it heats up. eek! terrible. but yeh when this happens on a few occasions, very rare, those 3 lights show up on my gauge. but then when it unfreezes, and i restart car, they go away. very odd, i don't know why
did your cel(check engine light) come on as well. you may have a bad sensor for the abs i would have the systems check out by a dealer to see what code are stored
The MIL will not come on for an ABS issue.
If those lights came on at startup you probably have low brake fluid. That means you probably need to replace some brake pads and have the fluid changed (the fluid since the car is over 3 years old).
