My black GS400 with better stance (9 pictures, 804KB)
I was down in the Dallas area Friday and I was able to pick up a newer style grille. I cut out the horizontal slits, sanded it down and spray painted the grille black and the emblem a semi-gloss dark silver. It's a nice change from my old blacked-out 2000 grille. Here are the results:

I like the car. Would look hard if you went more aggressive on the offsets. Still a lot of room to play with!

The engine is silky smooth. It has a lot of low-end torque (majority at 1800rpm). Stock handling is not very good. It runs low 14s stock. They have a problem with the lower control arm balljoint failing prematurely (~90000miles). Also, when the starter goes out, it is difficult to replace.
Haha! The ride is actually very good. The car is on Nex GT coilovers. I LOVE them. You can feel the road a lot more with this setup than my old Eibach Prokit springs, but it is manageable. The slop is gone. The dampening works well at the current height. It feels like the car is on rails around curves; very flat and responsive.
