Default New York Area Shop for Swap

I am thinking of swapping my engine out. Ihave a 94 civic ex. I live in the NYC area (Brooklyn and soon moving ot NJ). Is there a reputable shop to go to for a swap. Also how much does a swap for a GSR motor cost?

I'm supposed to get my swap this coming week at Full Throttle NYC. Their prices are decent, the owners' cool, but a smart ***. check out their site http://www.fullthrottlenyc.com, just tell them touch referred you. Give them a call.

ok 3 of the biggest and well known shops in nyc suck and so do thier engines

and i think he said reputable, which usually means a little more expensive- remember your paying for experince and expertise, not some kid in his parents gargage hacking your car...

how much experince do have?? any experince tunning... do you have a dyno??
didn't think so....

BTW i do all my own swaps/builds/mods... but ralphy @ DRT will be tunning/dynoing my car

For a good install and a good deal go to http://www.b20vtec.com and contact either Charlie or Bob. They do great work and the prices are amazing.

I am friends with Mike from Ultima, his guy does great work as well. However, it will be more expensive.

to anyone besides YOU working on your car!

If you got a place to do it, I'll happily lend a hand on the weekends, but you're buying . I'm not an experienced swapper, but I'm a decent mechanic.

I'll also say Fullthrottle. I got my swap done there along with an auto to manual conversion and the work and price are both good.
