Default Wrong jack point, pushed up floorboards

So I noticed the other day when I sat in the passenger seat of my car to grab something that the floor board was a little lumpy. I ran my hand underneath and from what I can tell someone who owned the car before me jacked it up in the wrong spots. There are about 3 areas where the floorboard is noticeably pushed up.

What's the best way to flatten it out again? I stomped on it a bit and it may have done a little bit and a hammer helped too, but it is still really noticeable.

dead blow hammer and a buddy holding a hard, preferably metal block under the floor while you pound from the other side. if he can put a flat brace on one side you basically beat it down till it flattens out. this prevents you from beating a reverse dent.

Alright. I guess I was underestimating how big of a hammer I will need. BFH here I come...

On that note, one of the lumps is almost underneath the glove box and I'm not sure how much space I will have to swing the hammer. Any suggestions for that?

you could remove the glove box get yourself some extra space. I also saw a kid do that to some other kids car i was surprised when he said oh well no biggy. If it was me i would have made him pay for it or something.

Have you solved this problem, OP? I have the same problem but I am not exactly sure where the floorboard is SUPPOSED to be a little raised. Isn't it supposed to bump up a little bit towards the middle/center console area?

Haha! I know I bumped an old thread in there, because I usually post in the Civic section. I just found this thread through a Google search minutes before. I am not sure just hammering away will make it flat though! Also, I need a good hammer because I think I only have a rubber mallet at my current location.
