rear bumper exhaust guard?
i got my 04 type S with the hks hi-power exhaust on it and b/c of the way that its angled its burning my rear lip and bumper. i see that they have exhaust bumper guards for evos and rx-7s does any one know if they got something like that for the rsx or if any1 has ever made one ?
Well I did some research for you and looks like you are out of luck. Apparently the hks is a poorly designed exhaust not only cause it bottle necks but because it burns our rear bumpers. Nobody makes a bumper heat shield for our car that anyone is aware of. You do however have three options that I could find from my searchings.
1) Ge the longer exhaust hangers so the muffler sits lower
2) Go to an exhaust shop and half them modify your exhaust
3) try your luck buying the heat shield from another car and modify it to fit

I'd have to agree with Type-'S'paz, either buy one for another car and try and make it work, or make your own. It probably wouldn't be too tough to make one with some sheet metal or something.
o just my luck il get the exhaust bent out a lil but my bumper and lip are toast. i think ima try to make one outa sheet metal to cover the burn so i dont have to get a new bumper and lip and but money out to get it painted andwhat not but this **** sux
duct tape lol. personally i was guna get the carbon s2k one but its 150$ then modify it, it just wasnt worth it. u can use extended exhaust hangers but it kinda looks out of place.
