I didn't find a FAQ so I figured I would ask you guys directly. I think I have decided to stay with Honda after all, although I almost defected, and I found a 2006 Accord EX V6 Coupe 6 spd and I was hoping to get some feedback and information *cough* George *cough*

The car is in excellent condition. It has 42,000 miles (I know,kinda high) and I'm thinking about offering about $18,000 for it. So my questions are as follows:

1) Is this a good price given it has no fog lights, navi, or any other accessories?
2) I'm getting a used car inspection from my local Honda dealer, what should I be aware of mechanically?
3) What are you guys getting for MPG on average?
4) Suspension and performance mods available?
5) I will be purchasing the auto dimming mirror and the OEM fog lights (possibly ebay copies) so I was wondering if the car is pre-wired for these accessories?
6) How are the foglights?
7) OEM front lip, is it hard to install?

I might have other questions but I hope you guys can help me with these for now. Thanks!

1) looks like a good price but i would try and neg. for less then 18000, does it come with a warrenty
2) each car is different with wat goes wrong so cant really be specific for ya , youll have to look around for those that own v6
3) What are you guys getting for MPG on average? u should see 22-27 some people get more depends on ur driving
4) Suspension and performance mods available? there is ull find it if u look ,, exhaust , suspension even supercharger...

6) How are the foglights?fog lights are good , most hard part is the wiring ..but theres a how to on utube....
7) OEM front lip, is it hard to install?theres no 06-07 front lip most people buy the 05 and custimize it to fit ,not hard looks sweet...

 

overall its a great car , u wont be disappointed ...

 

The car doesn't have a warranty left on it I don't believe. Honda was 3/36,000 right? That's why I was wondering if there were any mechanical things to worry about since it wouldn't be covered.

 

HMM , have u check carfax , well the car is fairly new , so besides the regular maintnance ,oil change ,fluids, belts, tune -ups, theres no recalls ,ive had my 07 for
2yrs and it only has 7,300 miles, and still drives like new..but if u are goin to modify it , a warranty wont help u once u do engine mods, cuz it will be voided, so if u are warranty isnt a big worry, mines ends in august so thas when i will do internal mods to the engine..

 

There IS an OEM lip for a 06-07 to Accord Coupes... :/

 

Its more of an add-on. The HPF kit or whatever...

So I will be going in on Friday to close the deal and I think I will be asking just under $18K but I wanted to ask a quick question: does the side mirror defroster button illuminate? I wasn't sure if it was out or if it's not supposed to be lit up. Thanks!

 

OEM Honda comes painted, you can get it at the dealer like any other OEM Honda LIP.
