is a usdm p30 my only option? to get my car to pass ref?

I have a 92 VX with a b16 sirII motor

the p30 US model is very hard to find any where (im sure you know this). so is there any other ecu i could use to make this happen?

 

JDM P08 SOHC VTEC D15B ECU should pump lower emissions if thats what your worried about. Or USDM P28.

 

Well i am worried about the ECU being JDM. I was under the impression the ECU needed to be USDM... S a p28 would work? I just need it so i can get my Bar sticker.

 

the p30 will work but i think theres alot more you need to do pass emissions. i dont know a whole lot about that tho dont have emissions where i live. but sombody did a write on how to pass with a jdm motor.

 

You cannot pass california emissions with a JDM ECU period. From what I understand the only thing that will pass the visual part of the inspection is a USDM P30.
