Default paint job?? need help

I was thinking about getting all the body damage fixed on my 94 si hatchback and getting it repainted a different color. Its currently milano red and i want to get it painted either captiva blue or a grayish color. Does anybody know how much it costs (ballpark idea) to get the entire frame painted (including interior and engine bay)? (in other words to get it painted so there is no red remaining) Is it a good idea to get the entire frame painted?

around here paint jobs start about $700, $1200 for a color change plus jams, to about $5000 or so

Depends on the quality you want. For what you want, it can start from $3k for a good quality.

Are you gutting your car? Cuz I don't see the point of painting the whole thing if you're gonna have full interior

no i'm not gonna be takin out the interior... i just think its kind of awkward to have a different color underneath door panels and in the spare tire area

Everyone is right about the price. I just got done changing my civic from white to electron blue with pearlescence. Luckily insurance covered it. It cost 4000 dollars to have it done. I had to replace both bumpers and the hood. I have a couple pieces of advice. Obviously don't just go to the first shop you go to. A lot of time the best looking shops charge more because of the upkeep for their shop. And they don't always fo the best job. Sometimes you can go to the industrial district in your town and there are very good shops that don't look the best but the guys there take more pride in the work then their shop. My last piece of advice is if you wana change the color do the jams and everything it gives it a much cleaner look. And will look completely finished. It does cost more though cuz it takes more time. Hope I answered everything. I will have more pics of mine tomorrow so hopefully that will help you see how finished it looks.
