Default What do you have to do to get omni power to send you a new coilover?

So last year I ordered a set of coilovers from a vendor on here. Wait some time for them to get to me because of the "back order". I finally get the coil overs put them on the car, corner balance it and get it aligned. I go to a one day track event and make 4 passess. The next event a few weeks later I go to put the slicks on a see a huge puddle under the right front tire. I pull the tire off thinking the worst like a break line broke, and I see all the oil coming out of my brand new coilover. I am pissed.

So I take the coilover off and send it back to omni power in September. At first they would call me back or e-mail me back and tell me another week or two weeks. Well a few months went by and still nothing so I call and no one calls back, I email no emails back. Finally I get in contact with someone and they tell me they will look into it and email me back. This is now end of november early december and they tell me I will have it in 2 weeks. It is now middle of Jan and still nothing, no email, no phone call no follow up.

Is this the normal bs customers have to deal with when buying products from Omni power? By the time I get the new coil over all the others will be out of warrenty and I have spent all this money to have them sitting in a box doing nothing because I do not have a complete set. Not to mention I had to put my old junk set back on, recorner balance the car, get it realigned because I did not want to throw on some junk coilover with all the rest being good.

What do you have to do to get a some service and get your coilover back? Had I known this was going to be such a process I would have went with another company. This is

the answer to the question is probably what you just did.

make a thread on forums like honda-tech to tell your story. then the guys from omnipower will suddenly be interested in resolving your issue.

I can tell you that I deal with steve directly and he always does the right thing. Give him a shout and see what the deal is.

You seem to have bad luck with suspension dealings.

.. yup, report them to the BBB. making a thread on HT helps sometimes too. I went a whole year on Omni's famous "backorder" and had issues with there front LCA's. ...D2 on my car for now.

That sucks.. But making a thread about their shitty customer service does help and I hope they read it. Hell they scared me off from buying their ****.

Function&Form has AWESOME customer service. They replace the part for free most of the time without the hassle and bullshit the big companies give you.
