I got into an accident in my 93 del sol and the airbag went off. I found a replacement airbag, but I'm wondering if I need to reset the srs light first. I don't think it would but I want to be sure it wouldn't set off the airbag as soon as I connect it. And I don't know how to reset the srs light so I would appreciate some help with that as well. Thanks.

 

There's a How To in the FAQ at the top of the forum on how to reset it.
You don't have to reset it to put the new one in, as you should have the battery disconnected anyway.

Disconnect battery
Throw in new airbag
Reconnect battery
Reset SRS system
