Ok i have no idea how to get the brake pads to sit into the retainer clips. I have never worked on brakes before and am lost on how to do it. I have the helms manuel and it does not say exactly how to put the pads into the retaining clips. Anybody have any pics, links, or videos on how they go on? thanks.
if theyre the right pads, they just fit right in. the retaining clips must be in the original positions. meaning the two lower retaining rings cannot swap sides of the rotor, theyre not the same shape if you look closely.
btw, do NOT try to push the REAR caliper piston back in. you MUST screw the piston in as its how it accomodates the parking brake mechanism.

yes they are the right pads. I twisted the piston back in with a flat edge till at sat flush like its suppose to, and thats what the book says to do. i dont understand the concept of the damn reataining clip and how it holds the brake pad in place. I tryed for hours trying to get the pads to stay in the retaining clips.
