best stock b16 header?
will i know this is kind of a broad question but what header is best for a stock b16. rmf narrow header or the toda. i heard goods about both. i havent seen any dyno with the rmf header on a stock b16.
will i guess this is what i have thats it. also my parts i am buying or want to will also fit on other motor if you would like to know.LOL
I understand where your at with your motor, imo you should just go get you a nice dc sports header save the extra cash and get you a tried and true part. just look around til you find the right one for your motor at the right price
i heard much about the DC. i want something that i can get that is the best so i wont need to change it ever again. im no rich kid. and for my motor i'm not looking into opening it up. i just want bolt on's maybe some ctr or itr cams.
is the megan or dc really better then the stock b16 mani? when i changed my gasket on my jdm b16 the runners looked pretty big and free flowing. any one have dyno charts?

On a N/A engine the one modification that you will gain the most WHP is a light weight crank pulley, which will get you anywhere 5-8whp.
For a good header for a good budget I would pick the DC Sport 4-1 stainless steel header.

the toda would be your best bet for a b16. spoolin sells a toda replica header that is ceramic coated for a good price heres the link https://honda-tech.com/forums/performance-45/spfab-t%2Ada-b-series-spfab-tri-y-header-%2A%2A-ceramic-coated%2A%2A-stock-%2A%2A%2A-2364945/ if your interested

spoolin toda replica is best along with rmf narrow for 1.6L motors, and you won't ever need to upgrade from there, and with added mods it will only increase power output. I currently own a rmf narrow replica got it for dirt cheap and its real nice, just need a slim fan. Find on ebay for like 30-40 shiped. Toda replica has better ground clearance I belive, both would be best if you want a good replica header, otherwise smsp if you got over $450 to spend.

yea i saw that link the other day. i wanted to get it but i also saw the narrow header which it look killer as hell so i want to know the differences. also the rmf is cheaper than the toda. will im just waiting for the dynos charts i guess.
That was my two choices also but i decided on the toda replica since it was ceramic coated and the research i did the toda seemed to be the best choice for my b16. if you want pm project dc2 he might still be having a sell on the header because i got mine for less than whats posted on the link

hit me up =-)
***I recommend putting a light weight crank pulley & a light weight fly wheel on at the same time.
**A lot of people on here say that light weight carnk pulley/fly wheel will damage and ruin any unbalanced engine, I don't think so. I think they put only one or the other on, so over time with a light weight crank pulley rotating with a heavy stock fly wheel over time I guess it can ruin your engine, I don't know never happened to me.
*I now have a B16a swap I purchased from hmotorsonline.com and have put about 100k on the engine/tranny with a light weight crank pulley and fly wheel that I put on the day I got the swap. So after 100k miles I have no problem.
Ive had a OBX steel headers on a b16 3 years ago got it for $70, i loved it. stay away from ceramic.
another thing dont put too much $$$ on a b16 . its mighty but your better off trying to stay leveled with the competition . go with b18 atleast or K-Series if your ballin much.
