Hey guys. My friend wants to sell me his 94 ex with a b16a2 swap for 2,000. Reason being he blew the clutch and lost his job in the same week. Well i plan on ripping the motor out and putting into my 93 hatch and then selling the ex as a shell. theres a 135k on the body with no rust. paint and interior are clean. how much do u think a shell is worth? i know throwing my z6 in will be a waste of time without a rebuild.

 

i bought my shell for 500 but it was from a friend...i would just post up $1000 obo and see what happens

 

u could throw in ur z6 in there and sell it as a running vehicle and probably get from 1500 - 2000. unless ur z6 is blown or something...

 

it runs but im pretty sure i need new piston rings. it burns like 1/2 a quart every 1000 miles. runs well though. it beat my friends n/a supra last time they had races at the airport. i was thinking about mabye getting a d15b and putting that in. Those usually go for around 3500-4 around here.

 

id throw in a motor and sell it.dont go through the trouble of building the z6.you can probably get a d15b7 swap for 300-400.ask for 2000 and include the z6 motor.

 

Thanks for the input. Ill prob. Price a local non vtec swap and include the z6 like esean said. Once im done ill prob through it on here and craigslist.

sounds like it would make a good deal...a running d15 with a z6 included. sell that for about 2k and your set.
