Default ECU? for F22B swap

I have a 91 accord lx auto with F22a1. Well I should say I had one. I just swapped it for a jdm f22b sohc vtec. My question is do I need to switch ecu's to get vtec or can I use the original ecu for my f22a1?

You need a VTEC ECU. What year is the F22B1? (JDM F22B VTEC)

I would say depending on how you did the swap an OBD1 (94-95) POA would be what you are looking for. You will have to ad the VTEC wires to the appropriate ECU pins as your non VTEC wire harness & plugs will not have them.

Nope 94-95 = OBD1. And if you already have the swap done don't bother changing the harness. All you need is the ECU and to add the VTEC wires.
