Default Recently got a paintjob - Quick Question

I got my car painted about a week ago and the manager told me not to bring my car to any car washes nor get it waxed for at least 6 weeks. I was wondering, what is the best method to clean my car without hurting my paint job.
Thanks.

Use a very light soap and brand spaking new micro fiber towels to wash and dry. The reason for not waxing fresh paint for at least four to six weeks is to ensure all remaining tail solvents are evaporated before "trapping" them under a coat of wax. Hope that helps.

I also heard that wetsanding it and leaving it in a warm dry place for a day then buffing it would help get the solvents out

Most body repair shops dont buff cars if they dont have to. Follow what they said, i wouldnt even wash it maybe just hose it off when you need to. Do a good wash wax the first good day of spring.
