Hey guys sup. Recently got a 98 civic wit the y8 in it. Well come to find out, After drivin it for exactly 25 miles and fillin the tank up. I went to autozone to get some cheap oil jus until i got home to check it out and change the oil. Well I poured it on in and...well it sorta jus hit the pavement. lol There was a big *** hole in the back of the block. Oil was justa spillin out. Sooo on that note I have a z6 block that im jus gonna use, well here goes. Will a y8 oil pan and a y8 oil dipstick work on a z6 block. and will the dipstick be accurate? well hit me up. Thanks guys

I wouldn't use the y8 dipstick because the locations are different.

 

i dont even think the y8 oil pan will bolt up to the z6 block the same
