Need Help.. shifter, windows, clock, guages on 94 accord
Anybody can help me? I have a 94 Accord LX A/T.. everything was working fine and then the next day i couldnt get the car in reverse unless i put the key in the shift lock.. when i reverse i hear a squelling sound in the front.. my windows dont work (cant hear the motor) my clock dont work and my guages in the guage cluster dont work.. but all the lights in it work.. any advice will be appreciated... thanx...
Check your fuses. Specifically, there is a 10A fuse in your under dash fuse/relay box which is related to the clock, gauge cluster, VSS, shift lock solenoid, etc.
ya check fuses an all but the shifter problem mite be a problem with the ignition switch...theres a lock in the key mechanism that detects wen the cars on and releases the lock on the shifter check that it mite be stuck or worn out...new ignition aint that much and is easy to install
So i replaced that fuse #16.. it made the clock and the window able to roll down but after a 2 seconds of the power being on the fuse fried again. i replaced it 4 times and the fuse keeps on breaking.. anybody know why this is happening?

when mine was doing this it's cause my alternator was shot, and wasn't charging the battery...as far as the shift problem, see above couple posts...
check your grounds. sometimes one of those wires can come lose or get corroded over time

look for corrosion, and just follow the wire...most grounds fall on the chassis but some are on the motor, if I remember correctly.
A Chilton's would help too, but it'll take a bit to understand lol...I'm still trying to translate it
