Default winter eh2 project

like the title says...i just started my winter project last night and what better time to do it? im usin my buddy's garage and stayin warm and cant drive the thing very much with the winter months beating the **** out of everything. so here is some background info on the car...

i have had it over a year and started off really well on getting parts until i got my ej8. i also got a g/f now...so priorities change a lil (cuz they get PISSED if you always talk about your honda). so it started off good but then kinda got slower and slower...i bought it completely virgin and swapped a d16z6 into it. well that motor/tranny sucked so i swapped another one into it. it runs damn good and i love it...its torquey for a single slammer. lol but good things dont last forever...the clutch is startin to slip, water pump is goin out, the thing runs rich as **** and always smells like your just took a shower in gasoline. i also had a carbon fiber hood and tailgate but traded it for a b20b, which is sold now . so now at the moment it has a teal tailgate, black primer hood, and a faded reddish/orangish paint (supposed to be milano red), and a milano red fender. so it also needs to be painted. now...the interior. the carpet is ripped and starting to kinda peel and fall apart. the plastic ring on the shift boot broke, some plastic pieces are scratched, and i thought about takin the rear seats and carpet out and runnin open in the hatch area. SO...i chose to go ahead and break it down since i dont drive it very much at the moment.

plans for the car while its down....
-new 6 puck clutch
-new si tranny or rebuild mine (syncro's in 3rd and 4th are bad)
-new water pump
-new timing belt
-clean the **** out of intake mani
-new injectors (possible reason it runs so rich)
-new fpr
-new header
-wire tuck and full shave of engine bay
-new black replacement carpet
-re-upholster door panels
-pw:jdm shift boot with red stich
-take out rear seats and carpet
-replace any broken pieces of plastic interior pieces
-carbon duckbill
-carbon hatch (my old one back...lol)
-new coilovers
-new struts
-rear disc brake swap
-cross drilled/slotted rotors
-spoon rear upper strut bar
-new tie bar
-lca's
-new headlights
-new tail lights
-amber or maybe smoked amber corners
-aem v2 filter for my v2 piping
-cat back exhaust
-body work
-integra type r black (cant remember the name)
-carbon front lip

i think this is most of the big parts of the list...if not i will edit it. but hopefully instead of dumping alot of money in the single cam i can find a cheap ls swap in order to do ls-t. but i need a reasonable price on one.

enjoy this build...i know i will. lol thanks guys for lookin. any suggestions/comments are appreciated.

now for pics!!

DAY 1

ok guys...not alot has happened lately. the car is in a garage, but its not heated or anything. so when its cold, i am hesitant to work. tonight me and a buddy pulled the tranny out of his nissan 300zx cuz his clutch is gone. he needs his Z back more than i need my hatch. lol and i also have alot left to do with the hatch. i got some new pics comin...hopefully tomorrow night the motor will come out. then its time to work on the wire tuck and body work for paint. thanks to all who have suscribed!! good things are soon to come. body work has started and once the motor gets out i will feel like it has moved alot. keep checkin back for some updates. pics comin tomorrow i hope!!

FINALLY an update comes along...life has been hectic with school, work, and my g/f so that doesnt leave alot of time to work on the lil' hatchy. but last night i got to do some work...i got the motor out and should be buying paint next week. then when payday comes hopefully i will buy the clutch and start getting things rolling along. hope to have it ready by april 26th for the import alliance meet in atlanta...im excited. pics will come in a few min when i can upload them.
