This weekend I had prepared to go through the proceedure to clean the throttle body and other related valves etc. to fix the inconsistent idle problem with my Accord. As I was about to disconnect the battery terminals I noticed a vaccuum hose just laying next to the battery box. After removing the battery to inspect further I found a broken nipple on a small "accumulator" mounted between the battery and the headlight assembly. I mixed some epoxy, re-attahed the nipple and hose and my idle problem went away. I am very happy to have found this problem before starting the other procedure which would have left me scratching my head when the problem persisted. Thanks to all of you guys for your help.
