92 Prelude Seats in a 94 Accord??? HELP!
Hey me and my buddie tryed to install my seats out of a 92 prelude into my 94 accord last night. When we went to install them without changing out the rails they obviously didnt match up....so we changed out the inner rail and the the holes didnt match up on the outer rail. we couldnt get the outer rail off my accord seats and i didnt want to majorly mess up my accord seats and it still not work when i would put the rails on my prelude seats. So i was wondering if there is anyone out there that has done it and if so could you let me know how you did it and how it tured out?!!!!
I'm pretty sure if you want them to be safe and properly secured you will need to remove the Accord rails and weld the prelude brackets to them. Mind you I have not done the lude swap myself. I am going from my experiences putting a set of ITR seats in my CD5.
ITR brackets welded to the CD5 rail.

Both seats installed and 100% functional & safe.

yeah thats sounds like a good idea the only thing i worry about is that the accord seats are a little wider the the prelude seats.....so if i were to weld the accord rails onto the prelude brackets will the brackets be wide enough to match up with the holes? also if i were to do this how would i go about removing the rivets that hole the rail to the bracket without messing stuff up?
i would just leave your accord seats alone and get a set of rails from the junkyard
take the prelude seat apart and weld them, if they dont line up because the accord seat is
wider then just go to home depot and buy some steel and make brackets so that the rails
line up
