Hey whats up h-tech... I juss bought a type r head for 200 bucks from my dummy friend.. The bad it have some bent valve... But i got skunk2 valvetrain.... So I have a little problem... I want to keep the original red valve cover but its uber dirty. So i was thinking of how to clean it without ruining the paint any more... So any suggestion would help...

hey sorry about the double thread i was doing this on my phone and some how f***ed it up sorry but seriously i looked on google and ht and didnt find anything so.... Maybe i am a little special ed but i tried a couple things like googone and some household cleaners and none worked...

 

I recently did this with my jdm itr valvecover

take it off and srt it outside in the driveway and coat it in degreaser and scrub it with a brush and it should come out great.

try simple green and scrub it out ^ that vc looks fresh n clean!
