Yea. What do you think the shifter is connected to. Shift Linkage right.. That runs underneath the car. Its very simple tho. Get down there and you will be like thats all.. Lol Its simple..
yea man im sryy it just that all my other cars have been rear wheel drive and all i had to do was remove 4 bolts and pull the shifter out and place it right back lol
Lol.. I understand.. Its simple on those. I put the B&M linkage in my friends TT Supra. I was like Damn this is too easy.. Lol Sorry didnt mean to come off as a dick..
lol its kool, hey a couple of more question .. i have a gsr 20000 with 63500 mile right and i already have a aem cold air intake i will like to boost it in the future can i leave my engine as is and just add turbo to it?
A remap/tune even just stock from a good tuner will improve your motors performance but you don't always want to take a stock motor to its absolute limits and sacrifice reliability. But yes if you were willing to pay the money a tune/remap of your motor with the CAI installed would yield you some power.
yeah. you would have to go under the car and remove it from the clutch bar and pull it from the bottom. i did mine and it only took me about 20-25 minutes. as for if them ruining tranny's, i havent heard any stories of a tranny being ruind from a short shifter. keep us posted on how it is coming.

No, you can't. The distance the shift rod under the car moves is determined by the transmission internals. You can't "force" it farther unless you break something. I've had a short-throw shifter for 7+ years with 276K original miles currently on my transmission with ZERO issues.

Well, you're not going to break anything in the transmission unless you're like Hulk shifting or something.
As I said, short shifter here for 7+ years that includes some HARD shifting on the drag strip and autocross course, and I've never had any problems.
Honestly, I've NEVER heard of anyone breaking anything inside the transmission due to having a short-throw shifter. Seriously, you just move the shifter until it stops in each gear. I've never seen or heard of anyone anywhere breaking something inside the transmission because they were used to having a longer throw.
