RMPs going Crazy Please help!
i was testing the red a/c clutch wire because a/c didnt work i turn the car on turn the a/c and connected a 12v bypass to test a/c and it worked Yea! but after i disconnected the wire the car's rpm's go up and down and doest stop i test drove the car to see if it would go away and nothing when the car is idle n it just goes up to about 2000 rpm s and drops to about 500 rpms please help its my daily driver!
Sounds like a vaccum leak (?) you may have involuntarily pulled off a vacuum hose. Most cars have a solenoid to compensate for the A/C kicking on, it kicks up the idle to compensate for the additional load the A/C presents, not sure if thats the problem (I dont have A/C) and backfeeding 12V caused it to fail.
