Another car jacked on the Northside Chicago
A buddies car was stolen monday of this week from the Elston and central area of northside chicago. Just recovered with pretty much everything gone by milwaukee and montrose, only a couple of miles away. It was a baby blue eg hatch, they took the b16 motor, tein suspension and rota auto x rims (black with red lip). Not sure what's left, didnt speak to him long over the phone. He just wanted me to keep an eye out and if anyone see these items pop up on craigslist or something, please let me know so we could look into it. He has reciepts for everything he purchased, but doubt the insurance is going to do much for him. So everyone keep your cars safe and watch out for these low life theives.
Also, hes looking for a lower priced car around the $500 area so he could get to and from work since the civic was his only source of transportation.
thanks

just helping out, but last month my friend meet up with this mexican guy that lived in chicago by cicero! the whole neighborhood have about 7 stolen cars stripped in all those empty house's garage! I think everyone from that area knows about it, that whole block knew about it(seemed like it) meet him on craigslist.org! 2 Red integra, 1 black one, 3 99-00 SI, and other hatches! couple swaps, rims, parts, etc! told police they did nothing!
Over time I think the theives must be on the forums watching or lurking our cars. This is the main reason why I left the scene. I remeber awhile back like 2 years ago I meet we a member on here to look at a car he had for sale, long story short he lead me and my dad to one of his friends house where his car was. He mention he could swap a GSR in the car for an extra $1500, I said no and walk away but after time I always notice he posted cars for sell with swaps for urber cheap and same back round: alley by a garage seem like Chicago and he live or lived in a different style house at least 1hr from the city. Cops are lazy, I am lucky I am real good friends with my local law enforcement.

My car was broken into and attempted to be stolen two weeks ago from today. They tried to take the car but couldnt so they gutted everything from the inside. this was on the UIC campus. This sucks and these guys need to be brought to justice.
It's messed up in Chicago, I can't believe the cops didn't do nothing about that neigborhood!
if you guys ever see or know this number, that's all my cousin have info of!
EDIT: Do not list phone numbers at Honda-Tech. You have no idea of someone's real guilt or innocence, and you are opening yourself up to civil accountability. We'd have no choice but to aid the investigators with your own physical location at the time of the posting, and you could end up at the wrong end of a $50,000 fine. -GK

honestly...most of the ppl here in chicago that get their cars stolen are those that dont put any security or think that some rinky dink *** club is gonna stop these guys. invest in a pedal club...a loud *** alarm...a removable steering wheel with the locking hub...things that will have a better chance of deterring thieves. if you know its bad here...dont take chances, you swear im gonna take a shiny *** R to the movies or to the mall...your asking for it. police here in chicago dont give a **** about auto theft...they are more concerned with the homicide rate and drugs. i got a couple cop friends and when ive asked them about the whole honda theft scene, they know about it...but what would you rather have someone preventing a life being taken or a car being taken??? the answers obvious their is just too much going on here for them to give a **** about our cars so really its all up to us and anyone who comes to chicago to keep your our cars safe. and dont think its just chicago, ive met up with more than a handful of shady *** wisconsin kids that do the same **** and then front like everything bad happens over here in chicago...milwaukee is shady as f#ck also it seems like everyone driving around with swaps and mismatch 99 front ends on their ek's.

stole my brothers ek Tein susp.,b-16, lude seats, circuit 10 bronz with polished lip. Stole my auto x black with red lip, carbon fiber hatch cover for ef. I feel for your boy that sucks. Hope you find dude that is to close to home. Where on cicero all these cars at?
Put a silent alarm in the car and buy a .44 Magnum. When your alarm goes off get to your car and blast who ever is inside! Personal Justice is served! If everyone had guns they would not risk jacking cars!
a man fo sho dawg do you know how easy it is to open and turn on a honda it dont matter if its in your garage with a dog. if a thieve sees a type r or any other swap on a car take it from a guy who lives in chicago and is in that scene of drag races its gona be gone. a swap is like a loly pop for a little kid they want that ****. the best way is a clutch lock or an imoboliser. also the best way for your car not being stolen is to keep your mouth shut. thats the way they get it new comers on the scene are always saying what they got cuz they feel tight with a swap. na thats the eaziest way they get you. they dont care if you got rims in the outside thats easy to get. but once they find out you got a b16 a b18c5 or a gsr you better find a way to stay secure. and if you arm your self with a gun and try to shoot them like that guy says good look cuz i know shady ***..ss and they carry guns. my advise bro for next time dont say you got a swap. not even your friend i should know......
Same **** happened to me. Someone got into my daily and took my stereo and radar. Right in UIC parking lot! Lets just say I take the train more often to school now.....

I had my car stolen on November 6th. The Milwaukee police recovered it two days later stripped of everything. A month later one of my parts ended up on Craigslist. I met up with the guy attempting to buy it off him and went over his car with him. He had almost all my parts. A couple weeks later I set up a stage for this guy with 5 detectives, 2 squads, and an undercover. We caught the guy that stole my car.

any kind of club, or alarm isnt going to stop a tow truck from hooking the winch cable to one of the tow hooks on the front or the one on the back and pulling it right up onto the flatbed.
I am a tow driver and pull cars like this all night long. If a thief has a flatbed witch most likly is what they are using then you fCk'D either way, like ppl have been saying, if they know a car has a swap or alot under the hood, they are going to stop it nothing to ****** that thing
