Need quick help - do I need to flush the Throttle Body hoses seperately?
vehicle: 1995 VTEC, AT
i recently did a cooling system drain and flush, but it occurred to me that coolant also travels into the Throttle Body area. when the cooling system is opened at the lower rad drain plug, and at the heater valve hoses, will that drain the TB area automatically? i had run a cleaner thru the system as well prior to flushing, so before i run the engine with new coolant i need to know if i need to separately take off the TB hoses to remove the cleaner? i had also cleaned and replaced both the sensors on the TB: IAC, and FITV, both of which had coolant in them. are you supposed to refill them with coolant before putting them back on, since the air bleed nipple is at a position below the IAC how is the air removed? - physics 101 ya know.
thanks,
atoz
