Okay folks im new to honda-tech but i just purchased two integras and i had some questions how can i find out if any of my trannies have lsd if it is not stamped lsd and can anyone tell me wat v4d stands for

pull an axle out and see if u kan see thru the diff... if theres a bar in the middle sry no luck... my gsr has that same stamp but no luck im pegged legged.... lol oh ya dont go off how man stripes u leave... trust me i got dick out of two trannys thinking they were lsd... goodluck

 

Yea thanks i did a burnout with one of them and both tires were spining it made me believe it was lsd but i see no stamp just the s80 and v4d i think its a gsr jdm tranny some of those have stock lsd... Any other way of finding out without pulling the axle its to damn cold in chicago right now lol

 

well no too sure but i did noticed this on my buddies b16 lsd... pick up the front end and let it idle and if both tires start spinning the same direction ur in luck... his did that and it was lsd cuz i put the tranny in.

 

if ur tranny has a vin its a usdm tranny..... so if ur missing a vin tag...it might be stolen...careful if u get pulled over...

 

So if i lift up the car from the front and both tires spin its lsd? The trany does have a vin on it can i find any info about trany with that vin

 

look up the vin on a "hanes" book but if the vin matches the kar all ur go find out is wat yr and model the tranny is out of

 

The trany is out of a 98 gsr i have been told to find out also lift up da car from front and move tire with one hand and if both move in same direction the it is lsd.
