Icon2 What should i do to my GSR

I just bought a 95 gsr. Looking for websites or links for exterior and interior stuff, i.e. wings, body kits, steering wheels, rims.

I like this body kit, not the wing though.

Are you looking for more power or better handles???

https://honda-tech.com/forums/acura-integra-6/all-gen-integra-%5Bfaq%5D-diy-write-ups-how-etc-2419202/

This is a good place to start...maybe it will give you an idea of where you want to head next!

Best luck

You have to be more specific with this type of post. It's your money, your tastes, your goals, or it should be anyway. Please don't depend solely upon a web forum's members to tell you what to do with your car.

Do research, use the search feature, read the FAQ and the threads linked in there, and then post if you have to. All of this is outlined in the Integra forum rules.

ok, the girl knows what questions she needs to answer to get more help. No need to flame. No need to reiterate the point. Let her answer the question or let the thread die. I say this in advance because I know 289408678589823 of you will either say something smart.

Well to be honest this is the first car i have owned especially a honda. I had chevy s10 before. I am researching it also. Im not relying on the forum to tell me what to do with the car because if i dont like it it isnt happening. Just looking for ideas. Performance yes but more so right now looks. I want to put wheels on it for sure been looking at some im more for a polised or gun mat color but having a hard time deciding what style. i want to put seats and steering wheel also. thats all easy stuff. Money isnt really determined right now. Its kinda like one step at a time.

When it comes to the steering wheel, I hope you're not thinking of getting rid of the air bag are you? I'm not sure, but I can't thing of any aftermarket steering wheels that incorporate the air bag.

lots of people ditch the airbag to get an aftermarket steering wheel. Its a personal preference. Is it safe? Its not recommended but if thats what you want, im sure everyone understands that if you remove your airbag, you have NO airbag. I did on my civic for a smaller wheel and better look, plus it didnt have tilt so it left the wheel feeling high up and a smaller wheel felt better. In my GSR i want/ed a wheel but as of yet have not replaced it with one. If i ever did i wouldnt regret it but until then im sticking with airbag, possibly jdm w/ airbag.

Well none of the aftermarket ones i have looked at had airbags either. I have been looking at a sparco steering wheel that i liked. I understand no air bag isnt safe, but i guess there a price to pay for what looks better.

to be more realistic, if my gsr didnt come with leather interior including a leather wrapped stearing wheel, id have changed it already. half my reasoning to change it when i first bought this car was to get a removable hub.

Yeah, there's always a price to pay. Personally, I don't think death is worth it. Seriously.

I've been saved from severe injury and possible death twice, and so has my wife, in 4 separate accidents.

The first was swerving on the freeway to avoid a softball sized rock bouncing towards my face. Despite several years of road racing experience and a GS-R with very high performance suspension mods, I spun out of control and hit the center barrier at 65mph. Totaled the car.

The other was when it just started to rain on the freeway, and a quarter mile in front of me, yes, that's over 4 football fields, a car started to spin. At 60mph, I was not able to slow my car down on that black tar crap they put on the freeway to cover cracks, over 4 football fields, and rear ended the guy in front of me at about 35mph. Totaled the car.

ABS in the latter, and stability control in the former, might have saved me, but who knows? I do know that the airbags saved me in both. Believe it or not, I had absolutely no chest or stomach pain or bruising after either! Due specifically to the airbag.

For reals. I crashed my ex's civic and wasn't wearing a seatbelt. Some dumbass was parked at night on the freeway turn so I didn't see their car until I changed lanes. I hit it going about 50 mph. I was going out the window until the airbag went off in my chest. You could see the indentation where my left arm hit the glass and pushed it out about 1/2 an inch.

Get suspension first. So research that. Once you have that then come back for more.

Honestly, with what you're telling us, you need to search. It doesn't sound like you have a plan or even a general idea of where you want to start. With all the options out there, how would you expect any of us to know your tastes and style preference in selecting steering wheels, rims, seats, etc?!

Surf the forums and search and see what you might like, then come up with questions.

Better yet, go to some of the retailers and see what they have.
