STD VS. over sized piston rings?

Default STD VS. over sized piston rings?

I have a 2000 ITR canada spec or USDM spec
just wondering...how do I have which rings to go for?
the engine internals are stock by the way...

... If they're standard sized pistons, use standard sized rings. If they're oversized pistons, use oversized rings.

i know so...stock engine=standard=standard rings?
is it wat you mean buddy?
because when i asked the acura mechanic or sales, he told me that the ring size is depending on who build the engine..? I had no idea wat he was talking about so I think you guys know alot more than he does and i do..

Ok, back up... I think I understand what you're asking now.

You need to have the piston measured, to see if it's 81mm (Standard), or 81.25mm (OEM oversized). Then you can go about ordering the proper rings.
