Anyone use it or know of it? Seems like a descent piece for not alot of money. Only reason I want the short shifter is for more crisp shifts.

These things have been known to break shifter cables.

I know I've got over 200k miles on my accord with a DC sports short shift adapter. Never even heard of a cable breaking. Maybe the 4th gens are dramatically different. Unless you are shifting like an angry gorilla on a 'roid rage, I can't even see how you would break a cable.

There's obviously more examples that's just the first one that popped up in google.

I originally had one in my car when I purchased it, stumbled on a random thread on HT I believe in the Prelude section where there was a debate going on.

The possibility of it happening was enough to make me want to buy an actual short shifter.
