'05 Civic coupe driver side mirror
I just bought a used 2005 civic today and I LOVE it, the previous owner took amazing care of the car, it is shiny and in perfect shape inside and out. The only flaw is a scratched driver side mirror. The power mirror part works fine, so I am just wondering if it is possible to replace the housing of the mirror with out replacing the expensive insides. I used to have an Accord and I had to replace the whole mirror once and it was like $300 so I am just trying to avoid that if possible! Thanks!
If it bothers you that much, have the mirror repainted by a body shop or pull one at a salvage yard from another Civic of the same color.
Keep in mind that a complete new painted mirror is $151 from Honda. It's one of the cheaper painted mirrors that they sell.
This is a good site for locating used parts. http://car-part.com/
