I'm trying to start my ls vtec in my crx when it is turning over it just stops. So i try again and i hear a very loud click. After checking all my grounds, fuses and battery, i tried again and the same thing. There is a click under the hood and the relay clicks very loudly too. What is the problem? If i replace the relay will it turn over?

 

starter? battery?

 

sounds like the starter to me. next time it does it smack the starter with a hammer and a screwdriver or something and try to start it again.
