So after flooring it 85% of the time the throttle will get stuck at about 4k rpm's afterwards. it'll last about 20-30 seconds. i'll floor it and then when i let off it's like it's on cruise control. i can push in the clutch and the rpm's shoot up to 4k and very slowly creep downwards back to normal. I keep getting screwed by messin around for a second and then i have a red light so i stop and rpm's are at 4k so i leave it in gear and let the clutch out a bit to drop the rpm's and i just hold the brakes really hard. lol. but it's hard on my clutch for that reason and hard on my brakes because the car tries to maintain speed or accelerate when my foot is off the gas. once again it only lasts for about a minute. sometimes it will stay normal but basically everytime anymore the gas gets stuck. any idea's? lube the gas cable or something? haha. 2000 integra gsr.

 

it's more like adjust your throttle cable, it seems to be to tight

 

your tb cable is too sticky...meaning that even with your foot off its hella tight holding your tb open....re adjust it so that it remains closed with foot off the pedal...and not too loose to where your gas pedal has no tension
