i used to use the old s2000 oil filter, but the prices on them went from about 7 dollars to 14 dollars, so i am using a mobil 1 filter in the mean time.

For me, I usually use OEM Honda, Mobil1, or HAMP depending on price/availability.

Hamp is my preferred filter of choice though. Go to bobistheoilguy.com and you can find article comparing different Honda oil filters. HAMP came out on top of the tests because it has almost double the filter media of OEM Honda filters.

my buddy and i got together and bought a twenty pack of hamp filters

 

Me and a friend did that too, its a good deal because you both save money and they'll last you each for 30k miles if you do one every 3k.

oem honda isnt always the best. some of the oem honda filters are not made by toyo roki and there for suck wanger. dont be fooled if it dont say roki your filter sucks as bad as fram, hamp is a roki.

Yeah, all the new OE A02 filters (minus S2K Toyo Roki's) are made by Fram/Honeywell. Might as well go to advanced auto a pick up the peice of crap for half the price lol. If you call around some dealers still stock the A01's, which are Filtech and of much better quality. I was using Roki S2K filters in my GSR hatch, but with my EP im going to save some money and go with a 5 pack of Hamps

 

I use OEM honda.

Recently the local honda dealers in Australia started using with Japanese made filters compared to the US made filtech ones they used to sell. I don't know if this is good or bad.

 

i still don't understand wtf the deal is with oem honda stuff. if it is oem honda, people automatically assume it's the best.

for an oil filter, i use a Trufilter. it's reuseable, rebuildable, an warranted for life. what's not to love?

for oil, i use AMSOIL. it's quality and lasts.
