Removing Throtle Body F22B1
Need to know how many bolts does this thing has, I need to clean it since this engine has so much mileage in it. And is it hard to remove it?
I tried using the Toothbrush approach but I can't reach all the spots I want to clean
Or even a picture.
The one in the FAQ. does not tell me how to remove it just how to clean it with a TB
Thanks!

i have an f22b2 but im sure its the same thing. basically after you remove all the hoses, and electrical connectors (be careful of the coolant that might spill out), there are 4 main bolts in a generally square arrangement keeping the TB in place. 2 of them are part of the rest of the intake system, so you only need to remove the nuts. The other 2 are bolts that need to come out.
The best way to clean it is if you take the whole thing off and go outside or something. spray some kind of throttle body cleaner really good inside ($3 at napa), and keep brushing. be careful of the electrical connectors.

4 bolts total, acutally for mine, i believe it was 2 bolts diagonal, and 2 nuts diagonal. you'll need a new TB gasket, its really easy to remove, might need to pry a little to separate but be careful, its aluminum. should be really quick for removal.
Yep very simple. Take off the intake tube, disconnect any vac lines, disconnect the lines going to and from the fitv, unplug the tps/ map sensor/ etc. Remove the throttle cable from the rotor. There is 2 bolts and 2 nuts... one at each corner (all 12mm). Take those off, try not to drop the nuts cause as luck will have it they will not fall thru and you will be searching for them. Give the throttle body a bump with a rubber mallet/ palm or your hand/etc on the edge of the inlet where the intake tube connects, should free it up.
Pull it off and proceed with cleaning with carb cleaner or whatnot. NOTE: I would remove the map sensor though before starting cleaning, just to ensure you dont damage it. Replace the throttle body gasket, if you have a couple days lead time before you do this and you want to use OEM honda gasket instead of autobone or whatnot... get on majestic honda for parts.
