My engine bay isnt rusting to pieces however some bolts are like crusted with rust and Id like to make em look new again. I was just wondering if theres anything out there that I can dip it in or something to that effect that will eat the rust away? Replacing all the bolts on the car with new ones would be sooo expensive.

Any ideas?

 

take the bolts out sand the rust off spray them with rustolium (sp) what ever color you want and they shouldn't rust anymore.

 

buy new bolts! FTW they're like .10 come on.....

 

Yeah thats what I was looking for. Ill look for that stuff.
Uh no? All the bolts in a car and whatnot would be so expensive. Thres bolts for like 2 dollars and what not, its more than bolts too. Theres random stuff rusting too that Id like to clean.

 

use a wire wheel it will be so much faster and easier then sanding if u dont have a bench grinder u can get one for a drill just keep your fingers away
