Default Trading Seats

Someone wants to trade me one Bride GIAS Low Max seat for both of my EP3 seats. What do you guys think? My EP is my Daily but, I think I could get ahold of another passenger side RSX seat pretty easily. Is it worth it?

It may be a good deal $ wise, but is it what you really want?

I would personally wait for a PAIR of seats that really interest/capture my attention. But if you really want it I say go for it.

Is it a real bride seat or a knockoff? Does it come w/ sliders and rail?

the brides I sat in were EXTREMELY comfortable. However, I am not your standard overweight american. I would not want to sit in one of these if I was on the heavier side though. They seem to be made for guys the size of a Japanese or Asian man.

like i said about the realness issue...theres alot of fakes on ebay floating around. If its real there are a few ways to tell. Is it a sport or the regular Keval model?

One day you'll want to sell your car, and you won't have any stock seats....good luck finding a buyer that wants a car with one aftermarket seat and one RSX seat.

Just save your money until you can buy them as a set, then you can keep your stockers (very expensive to replace w/ the side impact air bags) and your car won't look retarded and half assed either. Win-win.

^ You really got love for the EP seats dude. Good points made, almost everyone is kinda like me on the fence but you're the only one with a set decision. I can dig.

lol I don't really love them, I think they sit too high and the side bolsters are too wide for my taste. And I hate how the suede is starting to get shiny from day-to-day use.

I just know they're expensive to replace, and it would be a PITA to find a used set that you are happy with.

Maybe I'm just picky lol

edit: FWIW, I used to have a set of brand new Sparco Sprint seats in my Integra and loved them to death. They fit me perfect (gf always complained though), looked sick, they both matched, it was an excellent purchase. I would be very bitter only having one racing seat in my car now haha.

Hahaha that's funny, I can see what you mean though. I'm a little stockier and my EP seats hug me perfectly. It's not that I don't like them because I actually like them alot, they're one of the most comfortable seats I've ever had because of my body type. I'm just the type to always want something different. I mean, This is the first car I've had longer than 5 months haha, but I still have had 7 cars on the side in the past year and couple months that I've had this car haha.

I actually decided to keep my EP seats. If I did trade him I would have a the Bride and a Type-S leather for the passenger seat. I don't know I just had a change of heart and I had to agree with too many of the points turboteg2nv made. Especially the one about just buying a set eventually that way if I ever got rid of my EP I could put the Stockies back in, and keep the Brides haha.

I'd do it. Passengers can sit in the back with the harness bar for awhile. Brace for impact!
