Icon3 undecided B16 or B18

I'm stuck in between gettin a b16 or b18 engine,from wat I hear
The compression on these engines are to high to add a turbo or supercharger
Without throwing in low compression pistons and a couple of other things.....
But I was thinking of putting a combination of either a....
B16 head on a b20 block
Or a b18 head on a b20 block.
This way I think I could add a supercharger or a turbo with less difficulties
Somebody please help!

I suspect that you aren't aware of the fact that there are a number of very different B18 engines, among other things. You need to do some reading around the site - try forced induction first. It really sounds like you're just daydreaming and will never do a swap, let alone turbo/supercharge it.

What engine do you currently have? Perhaps try working with that a bit before wrecking a more expensive engine with trial and error.

If you wana do a swap easy just drop a b20 with the b16 tranny for alot of torque and short gears will pull you fast down a strip or if your a true honda driver and want corners just get b16 with ls tranny but same as sp33 wat motor do you already have and wat kinda budget do ya have

Closing this thread. There is not tech and this is SO subjective it could be a 4 pages explaination.

Please do a little research on your own. It is your car not ours.
