removed OEM spoiler, holes left.
So I decided to remove my OEM spoiler/wing from my 96 accord lx. there are now holes in my trunk lid. Should I just take it to my local body shop and have them fill it? Cuz im also removing that black/gray molding thats like in the middle of the door and rear quarter panel. there will be lots of holes from that. So how should I approach this?
Thanks!
Thanks!
well i know for sure i have an em1 and it came with a wing but
i took it off and when the car was painted they welded the holes
shut , grinded, sanded and painted it looks fresh, or you can get
a trunk lid from a salvage yard that didnt come with a wing and
have that sprayed.... but i wanted the original trunk thats why i
went the route i did.hope that helps!

To do it right all the holes left over will have to welded / silver soldered shut, ground, puttied and the entire panel readied for paint.
This will involve all doors and the trunk.
Now, in order for the car to look like it's not pieced together with parts from different cars, you're going to have to either blend into or refinish all adjacent panels. So, what do we have now....
Right door
Right front fender
Right rear quarter
rear panel
Trunk Lid
Left rear quarter
Left Door
Left Front fender
all you'd have left to do would be the hood, roof and door jambs
