length of wires to run OP switch and soleniod??

does the length of wires running the vtec oil pressure switch and solenoid matter? i dont know much about electrical ...

Just keep them as short as u can. I would worry more about the way you are connecting the two wires. Are you going to solder them or use butt connectors?
