d16z6 or d16y8. easy because they don't require you to change shift linkages, engine mounts, axles, etc. mini-me is also an option, but high mileage bottom ends tend to go out after you swap on a newer cylinder head.
just as easy as the d16z6 or the d16y8.
a word of advise tho.
you can probably find an d16z6/y8 thats in better condition than a dohc zc for cheaper, produce the same horsepower, and not have to worry about the compexity of a dohc engine.
dohc zc's are gettine old.
i say stick with a single cam vtec since its the same horsepower than a dohc zc...
