My cuz has a 00 civic si and with his b16 intake manifold( stock) he hit over 140 no problem. But after he installed the itr intake manifold he couldnt hit over 120. All the wiring is done correctly but he doesnt know y its not hitting over 140. Does anyone know and can help me with this problem????

 

did ya reset the ecu? by the way isnt si and itr same size? i dunno i have an EG

what other mods (besides asthetic) are done to the vehicle? its a well known fact that just slapping a Type R manifold on the car will actually decrease power output unless properly tuned. does he have adjustable cam gears? have they been properly tuned? what is the fuel pressure set at, what injectors, etc etc.

we would need more input for a technical question than he used to do 140 and now can only do 120. has he changed tires/wheels too? rolling circumference makes a difference in top end speed as well as power output.

drop the thug attitude, b/c nothing is more irritating than accents and slang in written form. plus it'll only get you flamed by other members
