Default 4x114 to 5x114 adapter

So my friend is giving his eagle aloy gunmetal rims. Do the ebay billet wheels adapters work safely? I know name brands are safe but would I be in any danger with these? they say its for mustang but its 4x114 (96 accord is my ride) to 5.114 so it would fit.

1) They're not rare
2) That's incredibly pricey for what it is
3) Why not just do a full 5 lug swap? FAQ

I will always question EBay items. Wherever you may pick them up, make sure they are S.E.M.A approved.

Depending on the thickness of the adapter, you may end up with fitmant problems. The tires may start interfering with the inner fenders if they're moved too far out.

Oh i know there not rare at all. there hundreds on ebay.lol
ehh idc about the price. its better then buying wheels myself.lol im getting 17" wheels for however the adapters are..

and a full 5 lug swap, meaning: new break rotors, lots of hard work, plus im not sure if i know how to do a full swap. what parts would I need for this swap?

the ones you linked add 50mm of offset to your wheels, which is enormous. I think stock offset wheels on the accord are around +55. Not sure what the offset of the wheels you are getting are, but you need to know this so they don't end up sticking out waaaay past the fenders

Exactly the point I was trying to make.
Honda's (along with most FWD vehicles) are considered High to High+ offset rims; typically +35,40,or 45mm.

Of course it is, just not with an adapter (most are too thick)

^^okay sooo yeah i can see that but question i was told if i wanted more choice of rims to do a prelude swap and the possibilities would almost be endless. I realllllly want BBS LM gold wheels as an upgrade on my car i am pretty sure they do not offer it for the 4x114 and if i did this so called prelude swap would i beable to fit these on my car with out them looking outa place? looking at 18" since that is what i have now on my car(18" racing hart cr)
