Car: 93' Del Sol S

So the other day I noticed this, there is a noise coming from my front right wheel when i'm braking, and once in a while there is an odd smell coming from my car, as if it was caused by something like brakes heating up, but it doesn't smell like brakes at all really. The other thing is i decided to test and see if this was affecting my braking ability at all and at about 15mph braking to 0 (under pretty hard braking) the front right wheel locks up right before I stop. It does'nt happen everytime, but it's happening. (it was also very wet when i was doing this so i'm sure that its making it much more noticeable). I havn't taken my wheel off yet to look at it, which i plan on doing soon, but does anyone have an idea of what this could be? The only thing i can think of is that there's maybe some foreign object on my rotor or caliper? I don't know much about brakes so any help is appreciated!

 

your caliper could be starting to seize.

 

hmm, i'm not quite familiar with what that is (unless it just means its going bad) Like i said i havn't taken the wheel off yet to check, hopefully i'll have more info for you then. I hope its not something too terribly expensive to fix, i just spend near $1000 for my wheels and tires!!

 

*fixed it*

my front right wheel wasn't really locking, i must have been imagining things lol. it was just the dust shield or w/e making the noise.
