rear disc conversion on ek hatch questions

Default rear disc conversion on ek hatch questions

ok so before i go ahead and pull the rear end off my car, can i use a rear disc conversion of an eg onto my ek. also i was going through myhondaparts.com to see if the poportional valve had a different part number between the dx hatch and the si. now it didnt show part numbers but there was no price differance. does anyone know if they are different? any help would be much appreciated

I believe you can. I just swapped over a 4x114 conversion off a del sol that got it from an integra itr. It is always good to get the proportioning valve off the 99-00 civic si for your ek with rear disc.

The proportioning valve is the same part as the Si so you don't have to change it. Use si brake cables though.

yes you can use eg rear brakes on your ek. rear brakes from any 92-00 civic and 94-01 integra will fit, as well as there e-brake cables.

the proportioning valve look the some on the outside but the inside is different your stock dx proportioning valve is ment for drums in the back as for the SI is ment for disks.
As for the E brake cables you have to get the 99-00 SI cables because the integra's are 1 inch to short i no this cause i had to do this for my hatch

The part numbers are the same for the proportioning valves on the the hatch and si. I looked them up when i was doing mine.
