cluster problems

Default cluster problems

i just finished my swap in my car and my cluster isnt working well the tempature gauge and gas gauge are but my odomoter,speedometer or R.P.M isnt working its a si cluster in a 96-98

Make sure the plugs in the back of the cluster are snuggly connected. That's my first look.

there is a solid blue wire on your distributor plug packdo a volt check on that while the car is one. repport back with your findings

did the cluster work before the swap or did you swap the cluster out during the swap?

i swapped out the cluster during the swap but the si cluster worked fine in my other car idk what it is im using a 99 si engine harness someone told me i might have to use the orginal harness out of the 96-98 civic bump

swap out the cluster to a car w/ a good known harness to see again if it works. if it does u have a wiring issue

most of them are plug and play keep messin around with them until you got then on right u might have gotten a defective cluster just may not work period man

yea but my cluster worked fine in my other car so i dont think its the cluster does anyone have a b-series motor in a 96-98 anf if so do you use the 96-98 harness or something different

Sounds like a VSS prob, or your not getting the RPM signal from your dizzy.

bump i found a wire hanging out of my harness its blue and white i just dont know where to plug it into any input?
